Hey, im rather new at this as it is to be my first car audio system installation so bear with me...
Im of buying a couple of Pioneer: TS-A2503i - 25cm speakers: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8023.html
now obviously i would need a 2 channel amplifier for these however im at a loss of which one to get..is something like this good? http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/5816.html. I read somewhere that the ohm-age must be the same but what about the wattage?
Also im thinking of getting a Pioneer: TS-W257DVC - 10%26quot; Woofer. http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/6553.html.
Can anyone tell me if its ok to install the woofer in the door as i dont have a trunk (i have a suzuki samurai). Obviously it would be a tight fit, but do woofers need a certain amount of space around them if so how much? Also could anyone recommend an amp for this woofer? Finally would i have to change my car battery/alternator for this kind of system? Thanks, DanCar Speaker System Query, !!!Please Help!!!?lots of work ahead of you. the speaker set up wil be fine. you'll need another amp for your sub. a woofer does need a certain box size. if room is an issue i would recommend getting a shallow mount and putting it under the seat or something not in the door.
