How to fix a car remote entry?

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima and the remote entry does isn't working. I tried to unlock my doors using the remote entry (as always) and it just wouldn't work. The remote won檛 lock or unlock the car at all. I have tried changing the battery but it didn't help. Someone please help!
